Clark is a Canadian who has just returned home from a 3-year stint with his family in Tokyo, Japan. He enjoys watching and playing baseball and hockey, reading self-help books and using the coaching process to help others to reach their goals. While in lockdown in Toronto due to COVID-19, Clark has started a new job, built a little ice rink in the backyard, and is currently trying to convince his wife that they should install at least 6 more speakers in the living room for the full surround-sound effect.
Edward Karek is a Communications and Public Relations Consultant based in Toronto, Canada. Edward was a member of team TPL – Toronto Public Library (tpl.ca), the world’s busiest urban public library system for 40 years.
At the library, his portfolio has included Library Program Planning, Grant Administration, Special Event Planning, Media Relations, Staff Training and Development, Internal Communications, Capital Project Communications, Community Consultation, Public Speaking, Fundraising and Policy Development.
Edward is also a Toronto based actor who has appeared in productions with East Side Players, Village Players, Hart House Theatre and Stage Centre Productions. For many years, Edward enjoyed working as an extra for the Canadian Opera Company, where he met Clark Luby in 1995.
Edward’s other interests include urban gardening, ballet, opera and world travel. Edward has rediscovered his love of cycling, exploring both his home town Toronto and other interesting communities in Ontario.
